Graecorum recentiorum vox, Ἀντεμίνσιον, quasi vice mensae, apud Balsamonem ad Concil. 6. can. 31. idem est cum Tabula Itineraria, de qua in Ord.
Rom et Viatico Bonifacii VIII. de Privileg. c. ult. altariolum nempe, seu altare portatile, quô uti solent, ubi Altaris consecrati copia non est. Manuel. Patr. in Resp. Antimensia non in ommbus mensis poni necesse est, verum in iis tantum, de quibus nescitur, an sacratae sint --- locum enim obtinent Altarium, etc. Non vero ex lapide sunt, ut Latinorum Altariola, sed confecta ex tela illa, quae cooperiebat Altare, in die consecrationis Ecclesiae et in qua continuo per octavam celebrabatur: discissa dein in partes ab Episcopo et Presbyteris distributa, ut, in defectu consecrationis Altarium, his Antimensus uterentur.
